Dear Jackie,

My mom says she is grateful her kids had a great music teacher.  I have to say, I am too. You were my first piano teacher, when I was in 5th grade. You were the first one to encourage me to sing. I remember the first time you said you wanted me to sing in sacrament meeting. I sang I'm Trying to Be Like Jesus, and I was scared to death but you coached me into a successful debut! Singing is the greatest source of happiness in my life (only short of my family and the Gospel!) right now and I thank you for encouraging me when I was young :) I wish everybody could have a music teacher like you!
